When first arriving, a selection of the database will be displayed. To find a specific vehicle you can browse the data using our classic [<<Previous] 1 2 3 . . . [Next>>] navigator at the foot of the list.
Alternatively you can use the "Search" facility to narrow down the selection.
Searching
You may search for matches from a number of fields including:
'Vehicle Make or Model'
'Vehicle Description'
Search tips:
Enter the types of vehicle, model or feature you are interested in separated by spaces, e.g. ford
transit
Do NOT leave a 'trailing space' as this will result in all records appearing in the search results
You may use * or % as "wildcard" characters
Any of the database listings can be sorted by clicking one of the attribute headings. Clicking a second time will reverse the sort order.
You may set how many records to display on each page of the database listings, simply enter the number required in the box at the foot of the list and click the "Change" button.
Getting Around
At the top of all pages you will find:
A dropdown menu to enable you to select the "Make" (Manufacturer) of the vehicles you are interested in:
A dropdown menu enabling you to select the Type of Vehicle you would like to see:
A 'Quick Search' box where you can enter one or two words. This will search the and display all matches within the database for any those words.
On our searchable special offers pages there are also five navigation links:
'Help' - that's the one that brought you to this page!
'Reset' - resets the selection so that all the records are available for searching or viewing (i.e. starting all over again)
'Refresh' - refreshes the existing selection (i.e. your search result). If you are viewing the details of a vehicle, clicking this button returns you to your existing search results. Then you can select and view the details of another vehicle from that selection.
'Search' - takes you to a "Search" page where you will be able to make an advanced search
'print' - When you are viewing the details of a vehicle, click this to print it! Your local settings will determine the destination printer and the printer settings. You may be able to set your browser to print or not print the page backgrounds and colours. Similarly, if you are viewing a database listing, clicking the 'PRINT Page' button will select that page of your selection for printing.
Sometimes your browser security settings can prevent you from viewing the database.
